Brooke has worked with hundreds of children and teens in clinics, at school and at their homes. In therapy, Brooke provides children and teens with a safe place to express themselves while helping them identify healthy coping skills and make positive choices. Brooke also uses creative ways of engaging children, such as through the use of puppets and art, which can help children feel comfortable in discussing difficult subjects. Brooke helps children with the following issues:
-Worries related to school, social interactions or home life
-Trauma, including exposure to physical or sexual abuse or domestic violence
-Strengthening social skills
-Identity exploration/ development
-Experimentation with substance use or other high risk behaviors
-Depression
-Behavior issues at school and/or at home
